The Westport Downtown Merchants Association (WDMA) is a non-profit organization of merchants, business owners and landlords working together to improve the commerce and culture of downtown Westport, CT for the benefit of the community and the commercial interests in our downtown. Compo Beach
Compo Beach is a 29 acre park with an extensive sand beach along the shore of Long Island Sound and borders the Saugatuck River. It is handicapped accessible with a boardwalk, pavilion, concession stand, two sand volleyball courts, large wooden playscape, bathroom facilities and lockers, and is adjacent to the Ned Dimes Marina.

Overlooking the Long Island Sound, Longshore Club Park Golf Course is a short 18-hole course with beautiful, well-manicured fairways. Golfers find a fair amount of challenge at Longshore on the small, well-bunkered greens.
Longshore Pool
The Longshore Pool Complex and Longshore Pavilion offers handicap accessible locker rooms with showers, family bathrooms, and a full service concession stand with outdoor seating and picnic tables. There is an adjacent playground and tennis courts with lights.
Longshore Club Park, hosts nine Har-Tru tennis courts with lights for evening play.

Longshore Sailing School is a community sailing and rental facility located at the mouth of the Saugatuck River on Long Island Sound. In addition to our junior and adult learn to sail programs, we offer sailboat, kayak, and paddle-board rentals, provide private lessons, and host private events
The Compo Beach In-Line / Skateboard Skate Park and Roller Hockey Center is an area developed to provide a safe and enjoyable area for skaters of all ages. As an alternative to street skating, this skating facility offers rails, ramps, and two half pipes for enthusiastic skaters as well as a blacktop area for those looking to skate safely, play hockey, or begin to learn the sport. The area is completely supervised and maintained and offers different programs throughout the season.
Marinas
The Town of Westport is fortunate to have access to the waters of Long Island Sound making boating a popular activity for many. There are two marinas maintained by the Town of Westport as well as places to launch boats.

Newman Poses Nature is a large wooded area open Sunrise to Sunset located at Coleytown Road and Easton Road. The park offers Extensive Walking Trails, Some Rough Terrain, and Wood Bridge Over Stream.
Wakeman Park offers 27 acres of land featuring a baseball field, softball field, walking paths, and gardens located at Wakeman Farm Road and Cross Highway
Winslow Park offers walking trails, biking trails, a picnic area, designated off leash area for dogs, gardens and extensive large open green area. The park is located at North Compo Road and Post Road East.

The Wakeman Town Farm Sustainability Center is an organic demonstration homestead open to the public. Westport P.A.L. Rink at Longshore

The Westport P.A.L. Rink at Longshore is outdoors and operational from late November through early March. It is located within Longshore Club Park. It is operated by Thin Ice Management and can be contacted after October 15th. Children and adults are both welcome and group rates and private party arrangements are available.

The Center for Senior Activities (CSA) Enhancement Committee was formed in September of 2015. The Committee`s Mission is to define the accommodations necessary to enhance the current Center for Senior Activities facility in order to meet the evolving needs and anticipated demand of the community`s seniors in particular and Westport residents in general. In coordination with relevant town departments including Human Services, Building, and Parks & Recreation, the Committee will develop a plan to enhance the CSA and its environs within the town-owned property zoned as open space at Baron`s South. https://www.westportct.gov
Toquet Hall, Westport's only student coffeehouse, was created by teens for teens in conjunction with the town's Youth Commission. Open to all students of Westport's public and private high schools, it is a supervised drug-and alcohol-free space where teens are encouraged to initiate, organize, and participate in, a broad range of activities. It is run by a Student Governing Board, an Adult Advisory Board, and two staff members from Westport's Department of Human Services. In addition, security personnel are provided on weekends. Toquet Hall operates in compliance with a Code of Conduct created by members of the Student Governing Board and the Adult Advisory Board.
Metro North
Metro-North operates the commuter trains between New York City and New Haven, and connects to points beyond.There are two stations: Saugatuck, and Greens Farms. Saugatuck is the main station, and is located at 1 Railroad Place. Greens Farms is located at 2 Post Office Lane. Check the MTA schedule for Westport trains.
Saugatuck (Westport) Railroad Station
The westbound (New York-bound) station is located at 45 Railroad Place. The eastbound (New Haven-bound) station is located on Ferry Lane on the opposite side of the tracks. There are two tunnels providing access to both sides. The handicapped-accessible tunnel is located at the elevator west of the New York-bound station. The older tunnel is located to the east of the New York-bound station.
Greens Farms Railroad Station
The station house is located on New Creek Road. There is only one building on the westbound (New York-bound) side.
