Situated on the Long Island Sound, Stamford is the third largest municipality in Connecticut and is surrounded by Greenwich (to the west) Pound Ridge, NY (to the north) and New Canaan and Darien (to the east). A city filled with culture, entertainment, active nightlife, and family focused events, its comprised of a number of neighborhoods and villages that offer a great mix of waterfront, urban, suburban and country living: Cove, East Side, Downtown, Glenbrook, West Side, Turn Of River, Waterside,Spring dale, Bell town, Ridge way, New field, South End, West over, Shippan, Roxbury, Palmer Hill and North Stamford, which is north of the Merritt Parkway and encompasses the largest land mass in Stamford, however it is the least densely populated area of the city. I-Bus Express (Stamford - White Plains) The I-Bus provides a seven day a week interstate express connection between downtown Stamford, Connecticut and White Plains, New York. The I-Bus is a public service of the-Connecticut and New York State Departments of Transportation, operated by CT transit, in cooperation with the Westchester County Department of Transportation and MTA/Metro-North Railroad.

Harbor Point Trolley Harbor Point offers-complimentary shuttle service-between both residential and office buildings to the Stamford Transportation Center. Our Harbor Point Trolley route connects Harbor Point with Downtown Stamford.

Stamford Local Bus Local bus routes make frequent stops, typically every 2 to 3 blocks, linking neighborhoods with urban centers and providing connections within and between communities. Although individual trips on some local buses operated in a limited- or skip-stop fashion, local bus routes primarily serve city streets and may also operate into malls, hospitals or shopping centers.
